The Brief
Shine Childcare is a childcare company that currently operates four daycare nurseries based in Yorkshire and Lancashire.
We were approached by Shine following a rebrand which included a change of name, and they required a new website, along with a brand identity and logo. They also wanted to unify the branding and online presence of their nurseries.
The redesign of the website and supporting social media output would position Shine as a provider of outstanding childcare with a strong educational focus, which would help them capture enquiries from parents looking for nursery places.
Our Solution
We designed a modern, new logo for Shine Childcare which portrays the message which they wanted to get across. The logo was designed to be both aspirational and nurturing, based on the idea of a ring of light emerging from an eclipse. Furthermore, we also created icons for the three nurseries, and devised a style guide to unify their look and feel.
Using this branding, we created a new website portal for Shine that includes mini-sites for Tiny Tree, Little Angels and Newbank.
The branding was converted into social media content and used across multiple social media campaigns to promote Tiny Tree nursery.
The Results

Within months of their new website and resulting marketing campaign going live, all three Shine nurseries became so full our campaign focus switched to attracting new staff! Now that is return on investment!
The new website and visual identity has provided the platform for Shine Childcare to market themselves with a strong, visually consistent brand and really grow as a company. Having achieved an “Outstanding” rating from Ofsted for all three nurseries, the future for Shine looks bright.
