The Brief

With sites in over 50 locations across the country and with headquarters in Leeds, Xercise4Less are one of the UK’s leading budget gym brands.

Working with their Leeds site, we worked on a slick social media application which was aimed at encouraging couples to train together, giving them the chance to win incredible prizes.

We set out to create an enjoyable and engaging experience, while also capturing vital marketing data for Xercise4Less to use in future campaigns.

The Strategy

We created an interactive social media app, named #Love4Fitness, which was based on allowing couples to upload pictures of themselves and their progress, showing off their physical transformations.

All users who did this were entered into a draw to win some fantastic prizes, with the reward going to the duo who were able to show the most evident transformation over a given time period.

In addition to this, the app also provided a place for like-minded users to upload their own personal workout and nutrition plans with a view to helping others and sharing their achievements and knowledge with the community.

As mentioned previously, the app was also collecting data for Xercise4Less to use for future email marketing activity, aimed at encouraging users to return to the gym.

The Results

800

Couples Signed Up

In the first month of the project taking place, we generated over 800 unique sign ups from couples.

There were also a significant number of workout and nutrition tips posted within the community, and the winner of the competition was announced on Valentines Day.
