The Brief

iCandy is a luxury pushchair manufacturer.

Founded in the UK back in 1933, they’ve established themselves as leaders in the industry through the production of high-quality products.

We’ve worked with them before – having built and optimised their fully responsive ecommerce website.

They were so impressed they came back for more. This time, they wanted us to increase their social traffic.

The Strategy

If you want to drive social traffic, you need something to drive it too.

Obviously they were already directing people to their products. So we needed a new angle.

We decided to develop a content strategy – essentially creating a hub that demonstrates iCandy is the number one authority in their industry.

This strategy combined both written and visual content, and was based on keyword research, an analysis of their popular products, trending topics and some bespoke material.

Our target demographic, as you would expect, was parents with children at the right age to need a pushchair.

The content hub was known as ‘iC Life’.

The Results


Increase in social referral traffic.

Social traffic to the iCandy website, following launch of ‘iC Life’, increased by an incredible 185%.

In addition, the website was able to rank better in organic search, due to our focus on certain keywords.

So not only did this campaign see value from a social media perspective, it also fit into the wider SEO strategy.

Finally, this also worked as a brand awareness exercise, as more consumers were able to find the iCandy website for the first time.
